We are renting a townhouse with splash pool for 2 weeks. Does the MC come in at regular intervals to add chlorine and check the water ph? I never thought of this until reading another thread, but I don't want a green pool halfway through our stay. Also wrt heating do they turn it up onsite and then just come back to adjust it if there is a problem?

Good question. We have rented villa with pool and the temps. have been set and the water was clear all the time. At home we are always taking care of the pool each day, so you see my mind is also on vacation. I will ask my husband because he is the pool care taker at home.

Hi
We stayed in a Windsor Hills Townhouse in October 07. On the one occasion that we were on site when the pool maintenance arrived they were permitted entrance at the gate and they entered the pool area with a key to the rear screen door. However, the pool "hardware" was outside the pool area between the wall and a hedge.
Ours was checked every few days as some of our pool toys were in different positions around the pool when we came back and the pool was being "topped-up" via the hose. We had no problems.....

Usually if it is a pool home the pool is done once a week -not sure about Town homes -but expect it is similar..The controls are usually outside and the pool guy will have access and won't have to worry you at all .If you get a problem then the man co will come and sort it out.

The pool maintenance company comes to the townhomes once a week and adds chemicals, water, does maintenance, cleans it, etc, basically whatever is done routinely, and whatever else needs attention. They just go through the back and don't need access to the home to do their job, oftentimes it's when you're out at the parks anyhow so you might not even know they were ever there unless you happen to be at home when they stop by. Of course if there's a problem get a hold of the Mgmt Company that takes care of the home you've rented and they can fix just about any type of problem, including pool issues.
