How does Photopass work with a group?

We will be staying at WDW in May and I will have three other families with me. (all relatives). I have all of them linked to me under my friends and family.

If I purchase the Photopass and they have photos taken and their bands scanned, will I see all of their photos? Will I be able to download those photos for free?

Also am I clear on this - it looks like the cost is $169 and while the photos expire in 45 days it looks like I can continue to have photos taken indefinitely? My husband and I are Florida residents so we would use the pass after the vacation in May as well.

Any surprises/pitfalls I should be aware of?

I think you're doing the right stuff. Our group of 8 had no issues. It's a lot of fun to see all the pics, especially if you split up. Good luck

Everyone can definitely get their band scanned and you will be able to see/download their pictures. The only caveat is you have to download all the pictures yourself if you're the one purchasing it, others in the family cannot do so. Memory Maker doesn't work indefinitely, we go yearly and must purchase it everytime we visit. I don't know the exact cutoff though. It is included in most annual passes though if you have/are considering getting one.

As long as they are linked in your MDE, you should not have any problems.
We have done this several times with different groups and its worked fine.

I think the cut off for photos is 45 days as well- I know it’s more than 30 days but not much longer than that. I went on December 4/5 and again January 11-17 and I got all of those photos from both trips.

In MDE/photos/filter..make sure “View All” is selected.

been awhile but had a group of 14 linked and got everyones photos. did have a couple of pics missing but they were able to find them plus a couple of others that no one had missed
