I haven't been to Palo for a couple years and it was on the Fantasy. I understand there's no buffet now. Is it one set price or is everything a la carte? We have a cruise on the Dream in a couple weeks. We weren't able to get a brunch secured but the ship is half full so I think we would have a good chance of being able to book once we're on the ship. Just not sure if it's still worth it. Thanks!

Brunch is a set price. Dinner is a prix fixe menu or à la carte. Drinks cost extra.

I did Palo Brunch on The Dream at the end of August. I couldn't get it before the cruise but I had a 12pm PAT and was on the ship by 12.30pm and went straight down to Enchanted Garden. The 3 dining team were at tables, Remy, Palo and MDR. There was a CM managing the queue and directing passengers to whichever Dining team they needed. There was just 2 people ahead of me for Palo and I had no issue getting a reservation. I wasnt put on a wait list, I was given the day and time there and then a few hours later it showed up in the App.

It was $50 set price not including tip. , this is what I had

Bread service -bowl of bread on the table
Mimosa ( Bucks Fizz) or Orange Juice

How did you know that your ship was half full?

Keep checking online, especially as your cruise nears. People start cancelling reservations as they flush out their plans for their vacation before the cancellation deadline. Due to COVID and other maladies, I had two cruises cancelled before we finally got on board for our first cruise... we were 3 for 3 on getting Palo reservations as a first-time cruiser.

I've had mixed luck with Palo over the last few years (regarding reservations). Most recently over Halloween on the Fantasy, we had reservations but they said they were full and couldn't adjust the times at all. On the other hand, in May on the Magic, they were happy to adjust our reservation once we were on the ship.
