Yes. If you pre-order, you'll go to the left, rather than the right, to pay for your order. Much shorter line and more convenient, as long as you know what you want in advance.

Yes, much much shorter. Typically, you go right into the castle and have a short line to pay for your meal. The line to order usually extends outside over the bridge. It is well worth it to order in advance.
