How does online check in work for campsites?

Wondering how online check in works for the campsites. Does Disney just text / email your campsite number and you can drive right in, or do you show your campsite confirmation at the gate? We will be getting in late. Tent campsite.

They will text your site. Security guard will verify your drivers license against reservation list. You can then go to your site.
