How does June compare to July?

DH and I have APs that are going to expire in July, so we want to try to get in one more trip before July. We went last July and it was pretty busy. Should we expect the same in June. We went like the 15th of July and we are planning on going the 14th of June. Do you think it will be just as busy? How about the weather - just as hot? I'm not sure how one month compares to the other. Thanks!

My family has done our annual trip in June or July for many years. Long ago, you could reliably predict that June was lighter in terms of crowds, but in recent years not so much. Here is what I would say though - find out if your June visit has a grad night attached to it or if it is on or close to the last day that SoCal APs can visit before they are blocked out for the summer. Either one of those can make it a less desirable day to visit the parks.
