How does gratuity work when on the Dining Plan?

I know that gratuity is not included on the dining plan. So what do they do? Do they bring you a zeroed out receipt with a suggested or mandatory tip amount? That just seems so awkward.

they will bring you a reciept eirh the total so that yoy can look it over.

at the bottom there will be the tip amounts for 19, 15, and 20%.

tell your server u arw doing the dining olan and they wikl grab their bix, u scan ur band, and put in your pin.

they will then bring you a zeroed out rexiept like u woukd get gor a restaruant with a tip line. u can either charge it ro ur room, pay card/gc, or cash. if im paying cash, i write CASH on the tip and total line.

i also take a photo of my tip amount if i charge or pay with vmcc/gc - so i can remember later

Thank you for this info. How is it handled for parties of 6 or more? We will be 5 + a 2yo and an infant. They bring a receipt with the mandatory tip amount I presume? We normally split up at restaurants to avoid this but we have decided to eat as a group for one.
