How does getaway today work?

They have the most amazing deals, and I want to book with them, but if I do payments they charge 150.00 extra. tell me, how do they work? you pay for a package and then they send you all the tickets and package items just before you go like disneyland .com does? are payments easy? or is it just better to pay for the package all at once ? do they send the package stuff right out then or just before we go?
I really want to go thru them, just never did it with a online company before. We always have done travel agents who specialize in disneyland. but we have found the disneyland site is not the cheapest way to go. the same package on getaway is 200.00 less then the disneyland site .

I book through GAT, but I don't know of this $150 charge.

Booking through GAT is actually very easy. Once you go pick your hotel and tickets, and finalize the confirmation, they will send you a big packet through the mail. It will include your hotel confirmation info, which you should bring along to check-in, and it should also include vouchers which you will exchange for tickets at DL. That package arrives shortly after you book, not before you go.

does this package come with early morning entry? I see the kids get a free back pack, is there any other free things?( luggage tags ) thanks

The park tickets have the early entry feature if you get 3 or more day park hoppers. I just booked a trip through them (no kids on this trip) and we got a lanyard and buzz lightyear pin for each person. I've called them twice with different questions and the service has been great so far!

I didn't read much about the cancellation policy because we booked only 30 days out and weren't concerned about needing to cancel.

Thank you so much!! I booked it, Im booked and Im thrilled. 7 nights at the Fairfield Inn , and I found out if we book there, the meals at Milli's is 99 cents for kids! Free internet, and pretty darn close to the park. I added the shuttle from lax and back again, and 2 character meals. Im now officially on my way. We got great ticket deals thru allegiant air for 99.00 one way we are finally on our way !

We have booked through getawaytoday.com for each of our trips and have had nothing but great customer service. Last trip we had to add a person and called to do that, the customer service rep was very helpful. We normally look up all the info on the web and then call to book our vacation so that we can ask any questions that we might have. We also like to stay at the Fairfield Inn. You'll like that Millie's and Mimi's are very close.

I too booked my package through GAT and it was super easy. The deals you get through their company is amazing. I don't know how the payment plan works for the trips but you can always call and ask. GAT has amazing customer service. Really helpful. Congrats on booking your trip. Have a great time.
