How Does Free Dining Effect Crowds ?

We were there last Sept, stayed at the Swan so the free dining was not a benefit for us. We will never again go during "free dining". We have been to Disney many times and I have never experienced such loud, pushy, rude people.
The loudest, pushiest, rudest people we saw were the ones who didn't know about free dining and made a scene at 50's Primetime Cafe. They yelled and cursed at the CMs and in front of their children and my children. They just couldn't believe that they could not be fit in for dinner at 6:30 p.m., afterall they had paid a fortune for their trip and the dining plan.

we always go the week after labor day-- and towards the end of the week it gets crowded a little but still very low crowds. You can basically walk on most rides, with the exception of a few-- i love going in Sept, i was there once for easter and that was crazy and i would never do that again. The restaurants are also packed with the free dinning, that the parks are not as packed, it might seem like its more crowded than it really is-- we had free dinning in 2006, and in 2007 and yes it did seem a little more crowded in 2007-- but when i can get on a ride by just walking on or 10 mins or less-- i think thats amazing:) you will be ok with the crowds
