How does EMH work with MB?

In the past, guests were asked to show their room keys to be allowed access to EMH. How does it work now with MB? If we do online check-in can we go straight to the parks for EMH? I would think it may be difficult to monitor for late night EMH if somone has an active MB from previous trips?

For Morning EMH, they will scan all MagicBands prior to allowing you to enter the theme park.

For Evening EMH, they will scan MagicBands at the attraction entrances.

They scan with a handheld device that can show them if you have a current resort reservation.
