How does Dan Murphy do it?

I'm always amazed when I read a response by him. He seems to know EVERYONE'S name along with their spouse's, SO's, kid's etc. It's always such a personal response by him. It's like he KNOWS everyone here on the dis!

I've always been fascinated by that. I picture his home office with an enormous chart on the wall of "who's who on the DIS". I can't even remember all of my 3 kids' teachers names.

Dan is amazing. I wonder how he keeps track of everyone also. I can't even keep track of my own keys and purse, let alone everyone elses ongoings. I wonder, Dan, are you as good keeping track of those kind of things - keys and such. Must be very organized!

LOL, Kim, you and the others here are too funny.

No 'cheat sheets' no spread sheets. We are a big family here, nice to know who is who. I must say, at times, when I know that I know the name of a poster (real name) or kids, spouse etc, and just can't recall it at the moment, but do recall maybe an email I might have or seen it in a post, I do go and search so I can use the person name (I was always taught that our own name is one of our own most cherished 'possessions'). When I used to post pictures from WDW and meets, I spent quite a bit of time making sure I had as many names as I could, and correct, LOL. With those eliminated for the most part though, no need to be as judicious in the future.

There are several posters on the DIS, where I know their names, use them in pm's and emails, but know they prefer thir DIS name on the boards and refrain from using them on the boards.

As for trips, that's easy, I just am aware of countdowns and people's signatures, and read. I also am a profile reader, and if a person has a web link, will try and look at that too, getting to know the person a bit. Like I said, family.

With trials and tribulations, we all have them. A kind word now and then, a smile, can be so helpful.

I've got a great friend who I met a long time ago on these boards, she KNOWS my name and my spouse and my child but she calls me Beauty. Even when we met in person I was Beauty instead of Beth.

She does that to everyone from the internet just about....I don't mind at all.

All kidding aside, Dan is someone I hope to meet someday. He always comes across so caring & tender hearted.

What's with December? Dan, are you going to WDW then? If so, maybe my wish will come true since we plan to be there Dec 19 thru Dec 26th.

I think Dan is actually part of a super secret organization. A Disney controlled organization. He is attempting to take over the world and is starting by knowing everthing and everyone on the Dis. Why do you think he keeps encouraging meets in WDW? You think it's a coincidence??? I think not.

Faster than a speeding monorail...able to leap turnstiles in a single bound. It's a bird? It's a plane???? No it's Super Dan Murphy!
