How does BOG work for lunch?

I don't really get the BOG quick service lunch thing? I do have am ADR, but I guess I don't get the concept. Can anyone explain?

With an ADR, you have the option of pre-ordering which gives you the opportunity to go in a shorter line to confirm your order and pay. You then find a place to sit and wait for your food to be brought to you. You can skip the pre-ordering, but the line for people not pre-ordering is usually much longer. The process is similar. You order your food, pay, and go find a seat. Your food will be brought out to you. Without an ADR, you won't be able to eat there at all.

Soda is self serve, though. It feels like a cafeteria where they bring you your food- like a "fancy" but noisy counter service spot. But well worth it to see the setting.

We haven't been to Disney since 2014. At that time, BOG lunch was a special FP thing you could sign up for online at 30 days out. I have been trying to figure out if that still exists but not seeing much. Do you just make a lunch reservation now at your 180 day mark or is there some other method like in the past? Thanks!

Pretty sure it's not a fast pass thing. I think I scheduled my lunch like 6 weeks out.

No more FP for lunch at BOG. It is still Quick Service but now requires an ADR in order to dine there.

Thanks for the update! There are so many changes in just a few short years. Guess that's a good reason to go every year and stay current, huh?
