I don't know why anyone would want to be one. Seriously! IMHO, being a travel agent is a no win situation. It would be much worse being a Disney travel agent. To many people know enough about Disney that they will always second guess their agent. People have such high expectations for their vacations. The slightest thing wrong gets people upset.

If it is what you really want, good luck to you. I certainly wouldn't want to be one!

There is a great thread on the budget board about this. It is a hard career and while yes a lot of people know a ton about Disney, I can't count the number of people who have no clue. There is a lot of competition for something like this. You might want to try an agency that is already established.
