How do you wear your Magic Band?

I'm curious whether you find it more comfortable to wear your Magic Band snug against the wrist (more like a watch) or loose (more like a bracelet).

I'm right at the point where I could go either way with removing the extra plastic to make the MB smaller. With the extra plastic I can't find a way to wear the MB comfortably right now, but I'm afraid to take it off and then find it's too tight. I'm guessing Disney won't give me a replacement in that case. My plan is to wait until I get to WDW and see how it feels in the heat and humidity. But in the meantime I'm just curious how other people prefer to wear the MB.

Cut off the excess grey! I put my band in the kid holes, but didn't want to remove the grey sides, so I did this. MUCH more comfortable...

This is what I did, too! I didn't want to detach the gray in case I found the "kid size" too snug, but the excess of the gray part made it hard to fasten. I left a couple of holes-worth of the gray on mine.

I wear it loose like a bracelet. I actually prefer to have the mickey head on the outside of my wrist rather than right on top.

I wear mine loose like a bracelet. I wonder if they get less stiff if you wear them for a week or more. I was only there for two days.

I actually preferred mine snug. I had to take the grey part off...not only did I need the kid size but I only had one or two extra holes left to use! I tried wearing it a little looser and it just annoyed me (not sure why...but it did)...so I just kept it tight like a watch. I'm used to wearing a watch though so maybe that has something to do with my preference.

I do this exactly, wear it loose with Mickey on the side of my wrist.

This is also how I prefer mine. Plus I have bandits that make the band fall that way on my wrist.

I haven't gotten mine yet and am now fascinated! It's adjustable, I take it…I have a very tiny wrist. Is one of those things where you can adjust but there is extra strap left, like a watch? And some have you have cut off the extra? Cause I'll for sure want to do that if there's extra long straps I have to wrap around my wrist.

I'm one of those old folks that still wears a wrist watch. I wear the MagicBand next to my watch, fairly snug, but not quite as tight as I'd wear a watch.

I wear 3 of them end-to-end wrapped around my forehead like a sweatband. People look at me funny when I head-butt the mickey globes but what do they know?!?

If, by chance, you're in the parks at the end of this month, could we coordinate schedules so I can get this on camera?!?

:lmao:

LOL!

I do a combination. In the morning or evening when it's not as hot, I wear it more tightly. If I start to get sweaty under it, I loosen it and wear it more like a bracelet so that air can get underneath it. I hate having sticky skin.

I wear it a little loose. I find I much more comfortable with the Mickey head on the outside of my wrist rather than on the top like a watch. It fits better that way and makes tapping Mickey heads much easier.

I personally don't wear my magic band, and when I do, it's loose

And disney will give you a replacement if it's lost, it will just be grey and not personalized.
