How do you water them trees???

I have been watering mine for the last 2 hours...
just have the water barely on....have to get them deep roots..

Slow trickle is the best way. Two hours ought to be enough for one tree unless it's a very large planting.

Shep I take the nozzle off the hose place it on the ground where the trunk meets the soil and turn the water on to trickle. I usually leave it there for 4 to 5 hours then move it to another tree or shrub.

I thought it was best to water at the "drip line", under the outer edge of the canopy. IIRC, that's how far the roots go out.
