How do you utilize your basic dining plan?

No you don't have to conceal it. I brought in snacks and drinks for my kids right in the diaper bag. They checked it out and we went right on in.

The quick service at Catina de San Angel at the Mexican pavillion in Epoct has a combo where you get three items for lunch as a combo plus a drink and churro. The cost was about $10.75 if we bought it out of pocket.

Ditto on SAn Angel - the combo is enough food for two adults - not enough to make you full enough to be in pain, but who wants that on a hot and humid central Florida day?

We typically ate a big breakfast in the resort before leaving - those B'fasts were enough food for two adults... TRUST me. Another tip - each resort will sell you a re-fillable mug ($13). USE it. You get 2 beverages with a CS breakfast in the resort - save these for later in the day, and drink your breakfast beverage in your mug - you can get soft drinks, coffee or tea in the mugs.

Also - the Patisserie in France (Epcot) has amazing croissants which count as a snack. The jambon avec fromage (ham & cheese) is amazingly tasty, and is about 1000 calories... and is a snack. That equals lunch to me.
