where i work there is No Dress Code, shorts, jeans, t-shirts, sandles and flipflops are all ok, even when they have customers coming in for a visit,as long as the clothes aren't holy
I work for a specialist mangement consultancy. We don't really have a set dress code, although the majority wear business casual during the week and jeans on Friday. If a consultant happens to be working from the office during the week, not on a client site, he/she will often wear nice jeans the entire week. However, some people wear suits all the time. Everyone dresses business formal for meetings with clients; internal meetings are always casual.
My vote is for jeans/shorts and a tshirt, but the getting dirty kind of jeans/shorts and a tshirt. THe company supplies a few of their tshirts, but we usually save those for the really busy/dirty days(i work at a garden center) the rest of the days I will wear my own getting dirty shirt.
