Hi

We have booked a car for 3 days, but will be taking our own seats as we will be requiring 3 and the rental prices are expensive. We are travelling with Virgin.

My husband is getting some postal string to tie the two together and package the booster seat seperately. How should I package the car seats? Do they have special bags to put them in or do we have to put them in black bin liners with a note saying they are car seats? :confused3

Thanks

Whe I took car seats in the past (goodness that seems a long time ago!!) I put them in a clear plastic bag, taped them all up, labelled them and put them with the other luggage for the hold - never been any problem.

HTH :sunny:

We have taken 2 of our own car seats with Virgin on 3 different occasions with absolutely no problems, the latest being in July. They provide a clear plastic bag to put the seats in. In addition to this we have always taken a black plastic bag as the youngests seat is a tight fit in the bag provided. They are normally really helpful when booking in with car seats.

Have a great trip.

we put our booster seat in a holdall on the way out.. but the holdall is always full on the way back! ;) so we just check the seat in by itself. No problems so far!
