How do you tranfer points?

How easy is it to transfer points to another DVC member? After changing my reservation twice I now have 30 points in my current use year that I need to do something with. I see that the going rate is $10/point. How does all of this work?

After you find another member who wants the points, agree on a price and how the payment will happen, you just call MS and telll the CM what you want to so. MS takes care of the actual transfer and that's it. You're done.

The person who recieves the points needs to be sure the points can be used for whatever reservation he/she had in mind and in most cases, will need to tell MS the use year to put the points he/she is receiving.

MS does not and will not get involved in any way in the $$ portion of the transaction.

Many members do a 3-way call with MS to accomplish the transfer.
