Rut Roh My return flight from New Orleans ( After Disney ) is through Baltimore. Yes not quite direct but for $80 from SW I am am not arguing. Might make a late night later.

:

Actually BWI runs pretty much on time, but Philly is always a problem. The only time I had problems with BWI was when they completely canceled a flight and put me on the later one. They had two non stops within an hour or so of each other, so it didn't surprise me.

You will be fine!!!!

I have missed out when I wait too long so I am afraid I will but it when I see it right away. I have a list from what I didn't buy last time.... a year ago.:headache:

:

Well, I hope that if you DON'T find what you were looking for last year, you find something way better.

It's not too late for your final thoughts!!!! Just sayin' :rolleyes1

Congrats on the TA job!!!!!!

Here ya go Mary Ellen

Now - THAT is a fainting smilie! :worship: Exactly how I felt! Thank you Michelle!

Good I have a later flight so I hope it goes OK. First time connecting through BWI. Would have preferred Memphis or something on the way home but it will be fine.

Well, I hope that if you DON'T find what you were looking for last year, you find something way better.

With everyone's TR and shoppings pics I have quite a list.
When I see it I will get it- no more waiting- once burned twice shy.

F&W 2012......Just sayin'!!!!! I think there will be many DISers there!

Hmmmm, food for much thought!:rolleyes1

Oh my you sure did get a lot of pictures of David!!!! I was really smitten with him.....Simone was cute too but boy do they know it!! They must totally rake in the money with tips there :rolleyes1

I had the proscuitto with melon pizza so I think maybe the other one was Cynthia's? I have had that one the last two times I have gone and just love the combination....goes very well with the sangria too ;) Loved that they came out and sang to you. They did that for me the previous year and I was l likely 10 shades of red

Seeing that it is approaching lunch here I could really go for one of those....pizzas :rotfl2:

So sad to see your day come to an end....it was hard being one of the last to leave with everyone leaving before me. And as usual I don't remember a thing about the rest of the day. :rotfl: See this is why I could never write a TR.....heck I can't even keep up on them anymore!! Pretty sure it again involved the pool. Or shopping :rotfl2: and then C and I had a reservation at Le Cellier that night......the next day we went to SAB for a little while and then it started to sprinkle so we were forced to go inside B&C for some burgers ;) Before our ME came later that day (we both had late flights) we went on a tour of WS and tasted several wines and various other cocktails :rolleyes1. I must say that this really took the sting out of getting on the ME bus :rotfl2:

BWI is actually a really nice airport and its a big SWA hub. The terminal is newly remodeled. I think you will like it. It's nice a bright and airy. And things leave on time.

I see Tracy posted. Excuse me while I go get the fainting smilie. Be Back soon!

I know I haven't been keeping up really well lately but I am sad to see your trip coming to an end. I have really enjoyed reading about all your adventures together.

Love, love all your pictures, especially those of F&G.

This has been a great report!

Can't wait to read about your next adventure Mary Ellen.

Ok - Got that out of my system!

Oh - they totally knew it! In fact, I think we ended up giving them something like a 30% tip! They were good, but comeon! :rotfl:

Did you and Cynthia buy the same shirt???? You did - didn't you???? Because when I saw that shirt I thought it was Cynthia!

The singing was great, but standing next to Simone was even better despite the fact that I am old enough to be his mother. :rotfl:

Seeing that it is approaching lunch here I could really go for one of those....pizzas :rotfl2:

Tell me about it!!!!

Tracy

I do remember you guys posting on FB that you were at LeCellier while I was still waiting in the airport for my 5:45pm flight (which left at like 9:45pm) How depressing. I should have just turned around and come back! :rotfl:

Yes - drinking around the world showcase will definitely take the sting out of a departure home!

I know I haven't been keeping up really well lately but I am sad to see your trip coming to an end. I have really enjoyed reading about all your adventures together.

Aww...thanks! No worries about keeping up on every update. It's really a lot. I'm just glad to have you along for the ride.

Love, love all your pictures, especially those of F&G.

This has been a great report!

Thank you! I really enjoy taking pictures of the world, especially Epcot and this whole trip was such a fun time.

Can't wait to read about your next adventure Mary Ellen.

Starting soon!!!!!:goodvibes

I think I need to take David home. Yeah, so he's young enough to be my son, but WOW!

I LOVE your wine charms!! They are so pretty and well, so useful!!!!

I am going to try to post a trip review tonight, but I thought it might be fun to post a little tribute to my traveling companions, the East Meets West Gals.

I will proceed in the order that I met each lovely lady during our actual trip.

Melissa
Oh Melissa. If I could only use one word to sum you up it would be Super Mom! (Ok that's actually two words). When I met you and I saw how competently and lovingly you handled your kids and your husband I thought, gee if I was a little kid I would definitely want Melissa to be my mom! You really do live the saying, "family first". I am so glad you were able to get a little "alone" time because I know your summer was run, run, run, and hectic, hectic, hectic. I also appreciate you making and remaking our ADRs. Thanks for being our uber planner. I hope you have a wonderful F&W trip and I can't wait until we meet again next year at F&W 2012.princess:

Jen
Not only are you "Teacher of the Year" material, you have that gentle presence that lets people know right away that you a geniune, caring, sincere person. You are also clearly a very patient and dedicated person. It's not so much in what you say, its all in how you carry herself and interact with others. You also know HM like no other. My only regret is we did not get to ride it together. But, Jen, I am very much hoping to see you again in June of 2012 and if I have to pick a spot for the meet it will definitely be the HM! Thank you, also, Jen for being chauffer to Cynthia and I during our first full park day.:wizard:

Cynthia
What can I say about Cynthia??? Cynthia - I couldn't have asked for a better roommate. You really helped me out when I was in a complete funk from my stupid headache and my lack of sleep. You helped pull me out of my funk and brightened my day. You are full of energy and just a pleasure to be around! Cynthia, you truly are a Jack of All Trades. You know a lot about alot. You are a computer wiz and you know a heck of a lot about wine, beer, and spirits. I don't know how I will travel to the world in December without you. How will I ever pick my own wine?????Cynthia - I know you'll be back in the world for F&W 2012 and I can't wait to see my roomie again. I hope we are able to continue to share Disney memories for a lifetime!

Christine I met you C for the first time two years ago. The first thing I remember about you, C, is in the glow in your smile and the sparkle in your eyes. You are clearly a Disney junkie who has had your fair share of koolaids. (Disney koolaid, that is). You know how to find the subtle, off the beaten trail beauty of Disney and its fabulous resorts. Christine, you were also clearly the comedian of our group. Your quick wit and dry delivery had everyone in fits of laughter. You were responsible for most of the one liners we used here on the trip report! C - I hope you have a fab time during F&W this year and I look forward to reuniting with you next year. And who knows - maybe by then they really will have shooters in Fantasy land

Tracy What can I say about Tracy? Well, just like I want Melissa to be my mom, I want you to be my aunt because you have to be the coolest aunt on the planet. If I was about 10 years younger and we had known each other in college I know we would have been at every party on campus together. Tracy, you are the "go-to" person if you're feeling a little nervous about riding a particular attraction. Your are my thrill ride idol. I mean- come on - you got stuck on EE (not this trip) and sat there calmly taking pictures. :worship: I bet you never back down from an adventure. So for F&W 2012 I propose a group T0T Dismeet with you as the leader! I hope you and your neice have a fabulous F&W and post lots of FB updates!
:goodvibes

So - to all the ladies, I sincerely enjoyed spending time with each one of you and getting to know you all a little better. Our trip itself was an adventure because how many people can say they threw caution to the wind and traveled with internet strangers. :rotfl: The best part is I hope we have many more adventures together!

And thank you all for the lovely gifts and awesome birthday cake and wishes. I still get choked up when I see pictures of that cake! Amazing!!!!!!

I haven't forgotten my update! I had it started but was uploading some other stuff to photobucket and had to wait for it to finish to get my links (and it kept timing out during the uploads) and then my darn computer shut off and I was so annoyed, I left it off!

So pathetic, it was actually the rest of my germany pictures so I could put that DIS meet update in my other TR as when I uploaded originally it kept timing out on me back then.

As a result, neither got done last night. :rotfl:

Soon I promise :goodvibes

I think I need to take David home. Yeah, so he's young enough to be my son, but WOW!

Seriously - that's how I felt about Simone. I was literally grinning ear to ear. I mean, come on.....I NEVER smile THAT much!!!!! :lmao:

I LOVE your wine charms!! They are so pretty and well, so useful!!!!

EX-ACT-LY! Not just for wine, but for any alcohol beverage to grace a long stem glass!!!!

OK - I'm going to take back what I said above about you being a computer whiz! :rotfl: Psych - I know that only applies to your creativity. Guess you better work on your tech side. Kidding - seriously. That stuff happens to me all the time. In fact, I think I have jammed up this hard drive with so many pictures that I need to do a good back up and delete some or I won't have a working computer.

No worries. You'll get it down.

Hey - I just noted the dream ticker???? Did I totally miss this????? I hope this doesn't mean you won't be able to return in October 2012. I'm counting on you!

LOL. Well this one is slightly beyond me, pretty sure it needs a new fan and I am just avoiding calling Dell. I did get a cooling pad for it which has helped a ton but it still just shuts off occasionally for no good reason. I've actually spent a ridiculous amount of time trouble shooting it, just not this weekend. Lately I've been taking the attitude that if it shuts off on me, it meant it was time to step away anyway. :rotfl:

Well I haven't really said anything about it as it's not a for sure thing. Right now we are booked on the 8/1 Dream, which would be on K's 16th bday. We would really like to take her on a cruise. However it isn't our favorite time of year, or itinerary but there isn't anything we like better that would work with her schedule. There is a 50/50 chance that we keep it, or we move it to a Med cruise for summer of 2013 if the prices are right. While that's a bit far out to wait to do a trip with her, I'd rather have it be the right trip and so if that's a better deal, we will move it. On the flip side, a pretty darn cool way to spend your 16th bday and a time of year we could demand with his ex and make it happen (and there isn't much of that if you know).

If we keep it, it will be combined with either Vero (which is ridiculously expensive in August, either cash or points) or Key West. No WDW. Our preference was the Magic in April which is a Key West itinerary but it just doesn't work with her break schedule and we won't pull any of them out of school at this point (maybe Eric) so we moved it to the 8/1 Dream.

So...it's wait and see what comes out for 2013! We haven't said anything to the kids and won't until we see the 2013 options and decide. It's kind of funny, both Jeff and I would actually prefer to be on the Magic, the Dream just seems too big to us (and the prices compared to that Augst Magic option are :scared1:) but the E's are dying to see it and I'm sure K would be thrilled.

I wanted a ticker so I did put it up there, it felt wrong not to have one. :rotfl: Didn't bother making a cool one though in case it changes plus I plan to make us a 2012 F&W one!

Either way though...doesn't impact me going to 2012 F&W at all so don't worry about that, that's a for sure!!!

Yeah - that doesn't sound like something you can trouble shoot. That sounds like a Dell problem.

I think the Dream cruise sounds wonderful followed by OKW. You could even do Daytona if you didn't want to drive that far or maybe Tampa or the gulf coast. Although OKW does sound like a super cool place. I actually worked with a nurse who just up and moved there - with her family. No reason. Just felt like it. You should try to do KSC if you are taking the cruise. It's really cool. I bet your boys would love it.

I thought the "hotties" would surely be an Italian sandwich. But no.

Thanks for sharing your trip with us. It was fun!

Yomp. And I'm inclined to avoid dealing with THAT until I have to. :rotfl:

It wouldn't be OKW...it would be the real Key West :rotfl: We love Key West, have never taken the kids though and while I'd love to go there, there might be better family options.

Clearwater/Indian Rocks Beach is definitely an option, as are a number of things as long as it involves a beach. We've been to KSC (K hasn't but the rest of us have) and would almost certainly do a day there, especially if we say at Vero. Once we decide if we are sticking with the August cruise, we will figure out what goes around it as there really are a lot of ways we could go. Initially Vero seemed easiest and best but I've got sticker shock in a big way so that seems a bit less likely at the moment.
