How do you think they got this rate at PBH?

We were at PBH over the weekend. We had a Deluxe Pool View Room at the Entertainment Rate of $180, which I thought was a very good rate for this room. Actually, we had two rooms at this rate, since my brother-in-law was with us. Yesterday morning when we were getting ready to check out, my brother-in-law took the bill off of his door and noticed that not only was his bill in the envelope, but also the bill for the guests in the next room as well. He couldn't help but notice that the people in that room (same as ours) was $139!!! I would really love to know how they got that rate on a Deluxe Pool View Room at PBH.

Has anyone ever seen a rate that low for this room category at PBH and if so, how?

Thank you Maril. I just learned something new. I called my buddy at PBH as inquired about your question. He told me that that was a FL/GA resident rate and that was almost the employee rate! So that 139 is the real deal girl! Dang I can't believe that! I have stayed twice and paid the ent rate not knowing about this! Rack Rate for our room is 305 so that is a HUGE discount to be had! WOW after I got over the disappointment of not knowing that ahead of time I can't wait to book at this low rate!!!

We are from Michigan, so it wouldn't work for us, but glad to hear you may be able to get this fabulous rate. I kept saying to my family on the way home - I have to find out how they got that great rate!!

I'm not so sure about that Maril. I called lowes and inquired about ga/fl rate for two weekends in sept of this year she did'nt quote me that rate it was actually 219 ga/fl and 180 ent rate. Now on the other hand ga/fl rate for bayview is 159 for that time period so if it was 139 for a bayview room last weekend then they were able to upgrade that person that kind of makes sense.

That must be it. I was jealous, that's for sure. I'm thinking we have a good rate at $180 and then I find out these people had a rate of $139!! I was not happy!
