How do you think the crowds will be Oct 8 -15

We are thinking about going to Disney World this Oct 8 -15 because due to the various holidays (Columbus Day and Rosh Hashanah) my daughter would only miss 2 days of school for the week. Are the crowds usually crowded since most schools get off for two holidays that week?

I am not sure about Columbus day, but most schools don't get Rosh Hashanah off here. Only Jewish schools do. I haven't been during that time, but according to others that seems like a good time to go.

Hi, we are in NYC & we do get Rosh Hashana off but those days are Oct 4-5 not in your Oct 8-15th week. There is Yom Kipper on Oct 13.

We went last year during that week in October. The parks were more crowded around the Columbus Day weekend than the rest of the week, but even with the "crowds" it was a nice time to go. Weather was good and crowds were manageable -- we were able to do everything we wanted to do; just be sure to do all your PSs ahead of time. Be sure to go to MNSSHP (read up on it if you're not familiar) -- it was a highlight of our trip.
