Little of this…little of that….Up early, hit the big rides. No PS’s for us. We go in September/October usually. It’s just two of us, we eat only lunch in the parks, and we go to lunch as soon as the restaurant that we’ve pick out is open. Never been turned away yet. We follow UG’s plan but tweaked to fit what we want to see and maybe chop out some park crossing. But we never stick to our plan. If we encounter something that we want to interact with we stop and play. But with that said, we’ve been a few times. Toured differently the first few visits.

.......and stay there all day with an organized, chaotic plan! :teeth:

Our first few visits were done commando style but we have mellowed with age. We take a more relaxed style of touring now. We DO plan all our meals however.

Every trip is different. Our best trip yet was last week, when we deviated from our plans quite frequently and took a much more laid back approach. While we didn't see as much in our 10 days as we saw in the 4 we had back in the fall, we had a MUCH better time.

The 1st 2x we went (late Jan/early Feb) the only real planning I did was PS and which park on which day. Last year, I planned until I couldn't plan anymore because we went in July. Let's just say..I didn't plan on it being that hot. I knew it would be hot and crowded, but it really, really bothered us and we had a 1 yr old in tow. I'll do better this year!

I go solo, once per year, for 6 nights in early December. That said, Months in advance I plan for "which park-which day", avoiding early entry.
I refuse to use an alarm clock, unless I am meeting someone for breakfast.
I always have a full buffet breakfast, then head to my park for that day.
I never get there by park opening - but that's OK. I just leisurely stroll from one thing to another, as the mood strikes me. I might make a PS for an early dinner, such as Sci Fi in MGM, but that's about as much commando as I get. :cool1:
