So I am always soooo good on a new diet/exercise regimen for the first week or two and then I lose focus and end up falling off the wagon. It's been almost 3 weeks (started on January 1 with the rest of the world give or take...:lmao: ) and I can see myself losing focus a bit. I haven't had a lot of "bad" days, but today was definitely an 1800 calorie day..possibly 2000. I will try to be better tomorrow, but it's just hard to stay motivated, especially on the weekends!

I keep thinking..I want to be in my cute, one size down pants by spring..but that doesn't always work for motivation!

Windwalker has teams that he sets up - you can ask to be on a team. I found that being part of a team with a thread that was answered daily was a big help. If I didn't to my part, I felt I was letting the team down. I was also encouraged when things happened - as they always do - to impede my progress.

We're all here for you, set some goals - meet them and then set a bit higher one and of course - rewards for accomplishing them.

Good Luck.

I know exactly what your talking about. I started on Jan 1st too - of last year.... to date, I've lost about 75 lbs, but I still need to loose more, and my focus is totally gone. I can't seem to pass a fast food place without going though the drive though.... I haven't been on the treadmill in god knows how long - the only thing I've done is get on the tennis court once a week for 3 hours. Tomorrow (Monday) we - DH and myself - are 100% back on the diet. We have a trip in July that I WILL BE a size 4 for, no matter what!!! I have 24 weeks till we go - so if I loose 2lbs per week, that means 48lbs..... If I can do it, you can do it!!! I know it seems like a lot, but its totally doable - I did it last year, I can do it this year!!!! Just gotta keep motivated!!!

Having said that, were off to P.F. Changs..............

Don't look at it as a diet. WW is right when they say diets don't work. The problem is that WW is a diet also. What does work is a healthy lifestyle change. It is a mindset, that's all. Eat the foods that you need to eat on a regular basis and then, every other week, allow yourself a cheat day. This will shock your body so it will not get used to a certain calorie range. It will also help you stay away from those little "binges" that we all like to partake in from time to time.

Also, is it was mentioned, try to join one of the teams on the events thread. We have had several people loose a lot of weight from it last year and are looking for more successs this year. Come on aboard and we can encourage you together!
