It has been quite a while since we have visited WDW in the summer months- we usually go in December- but this upcoming trip is mid-May. Now, we are from south Texas so we are used to hot weather, but deal with it by staying inside from 11:00a-5:00p if at all possible... Myself and a few other members of my group are very heat-intolerant and can overheat very quickly and become ill (we also sunburn super fast and turn into tomatoes
which inevitably makes us overheat even quicker; we try to be super careful to avoid burning)
We do not like to go back to the resort in the middle of the day because we feel we lose a lot of time, so my question is what do you do to keep cool in the parks?
I have already purchased Frogg-Toggs but I have never used them so I don't know how well they work; I also have mister fans, sunglasses, sun visors, loads of sunscreen... is there anything else I could use that I haven't thought of?
I have tried to schedule lunch ADRs during the hottest part of the day so we get that little break, and plan to see inside shows (like Tiki Room, Nemo Musical, Lion King) during hot times as well.
Anyone have any other tips?
