How do you start a conversation

Let's say that you really like somebod but you've never talked to them. How would you start a conversation?

I know! Umm....oh yeah. "Hi. My name is Travis(real name). What's yours? Yadda yadda what do you like yadda yadda"...and so on.

Um, bring up something that you both can relate to. "Oh, I love your sneakers! Whered you get 'em?!" "Yeah, Do you have so and so for science? Have you had her as a teacher before? I know! I hated her too" Stuff along those lines.

You could just be straightforward. "Hi. I like you. Wanna go get pizza?" It's worked for me.

My ways a little weird. I normally complain about something when I want to talk. I'll say something like "Ugh I don't want to go to social studies next." And then the person we be like "Yeah...me either" or like "no I wanna go, we're watching a movie" or something But I'm weird like that.

Or you could just say Hi and ask how he's doing.

if it was during lunch, i'd stand in front of/ next to the person in a lunch line and be like,
"Hey, how's it going?"
