As I was snuggling into my favorite position last night I got to wondering if anyone else has a "certain" way they need to contort themselves to be able to fall asleep. I had a friend who needed to be flat on her back, right leg bent and her left arm draped over her eyes! Me? I need to be on my stomach, left arm up under the pillow with my right leg bent.

Anyone else??

On my right side in a fetal position (I can't sleep on my left side for some reason) with my right arm tucked under my pillow.

On my right side usually, with my DH behind me and a pillow over my head:teeth: Do not ask me why - but I have slept with a pillow over my head since I was a kid.... Hey...whatever works, right? lol

Flat on my back one pillow under each arm.

(my hubby says he has trouble finding me) HEHEHEHEEE!!:earseek:

I always sleep on my right side, with my right arm under my pillow and a body pillow tucked between my legs while hugging it with my left arm. I stay in this position the entire night, but it takes me about 10 minutes of settling to get it just right. Usually with my DH-2-Be spooning me :p

However I end up with my 7 month old sleeping next to me. Sometimes I am on the egde of the bed on my side, balancing precariously! LOL :)

I sleep on my left side, with my right leg drawn up.

With my eyes closed,

Start out kinda on my right side right arm above my head and then usually flip before falling asleep same position, left side though LOL. One thing I have always done since I was an infant was sleep kinda making a fist with my thumbs tucked in. I know, Im strange:teeth:

With a Siamese cat in my arms! Seriously, Smokey must be in my arms (with me on my stomach, facing right, with my head in his fur). If I don't sleep this way, I have a cat pawing me all night to hold him. He is such a baby.

On my stomach (it was torture when I was pregnant and unable to do this LOL!) with Remy in my bed and Holly in her crib next to it (it comforts us to be together with DH gone).

All all the place. I can never get comfortable and constantly twisting and turning throughout the night

it depends....if the arthritis in the left shoulder is hurting, I sleep on the right side...if the arthritis in the right hip is hurting, I sleep on the left side. If they both get to hurting, I get up and DIS!:)

I usually sleep on my right side in almost a fetal position. I have one pillow under my head (I used to have more but my physical therapist said only one) and my other two pillows laying on either side of me.

On my right side at the very edge of the bed...I can't stand to have anyone near or touching me while I am sleeping.
