Okay, now that my countdown clock is very low, and I'm counting *hours* in the double digits, the amount of sleep I'm getting each night is getting less and less as it gets closer.

I'm so excited, that I just can't get to sleep!! And when I do, I wake up after a few hours.

Of course, the fact that it's my first trip back to WDW in 17 years probably has nothing to do with the enthusiasm.

Anybody have any tricks for counting Mickeys in my head to go to sleep?

.. I recommend a good Scotch whisky, preferably a single malt (Glenfiddich or The Macallan will do)... you'll sleep after about 1/2 a bottle!;) Have a great time! Can't believe my clock will ever make it to 2 days!

Oh that happens to me too! The closer it gets the more I'm excited and also trying to remember all the errands I need to get done before we leave the harder it is for me to fall asleep!! However once I'm down there I am so tired from our busy park days that I just drop into bed and am out in no time. So I guess it evens out!

Hope you get a good nights rest before you leave!!

Just remember you need to rest up now so that you don't have to waste your time sleeping at WDW! Ah.......so much to do........so little time.:D

Or is it Two...

NightQuil!!!

I havent been able to sleep for the last 2 nights either.. Either has My Daughter..

So I will take my nightquil and give her some Melatonin

We Leave Sat at 5am!! Yipee:bounce:

Try a couple of Tylenol PM's. You need to rest so you will have lots of energy on your vacation.::MinnieMo

Try some benedryl. I work in a hospital, and 50mg Benedryl is what a lot of the docs give for sleepers. Bonus is that you're rarely hung over the next day. Have a fabulous time!

Thanks to all. Hmmm. Must add to shopping list for tonight: Benedryl, Niquil, and Scotch for Friday and Saturday nights!!
:smooth:

It's getting closer all of the time, but I think my co-workers are going to be *very* sick of hearing about it between now and Friday afternoon!

Don't take them all at once, Tigger!:p

I agree with the Nyquil and Tylenol PM, but add some Sleepinal to your list. I find they work great and I don't feel groggy in the morning. Sometimes you just have to get up and write down whatever is going through your head and then you can sleep. I also found that I do better if I don't pack ANYTHING until the day of the trip. Since our flight out is a late one I can pack all day and then I don't lay there thinking "did I remember this and that". Sweet dreams!:faint:
