I love these sort of regional differences. I lived overseas on a miltary base (eg people from all over the US) and the "arguments" over what things were called were pretty funny. (The best being the soda vs pop vs "Coke" covering any carobnated beverage! )

Another fun one is how people pronounce Louisville, New Orleans and Missouri based on where they are from. Where we lived in Ohio, a lot of Tennessee transplants to work for Ford. You could tell by how the kids in the area pronounced those words if their parents came from there.

I am with most everyone else on the others, but when I was growing up we always called #5 a Babushka! I have no idea why, I think this is a slavic or Russian term, and we are not even close to any of those ethnicities.
