How do you save to go to Disney

Another one to add: eBay! I'll be making a good chunk of my holiday money on eBay I reckon. I guess i'm lucky that i've been a total shopaholic and packrat before now so I have a lot of stuff to sell but most people could make more than they might think :thumbsup2
I have loads and loads of stuff to sell,we were supposed to go and sell it at car boots but never got around to doing it.I will have to sell it on ebay instead one day!

I am selling dd winter clothes from last year on ebay. some of it is designer so its better to sell it rather than just throw it away. I also sell my uni books from last year to pay for this years books and put the money I would of spent towards the holiday. (Last year I spent £200 on books so I can get at least £100 selling them on again)

DBF is making us cut down on meals out and wines, he earns a good income however feels as if we are spending to much and this money could be going on holidays.

I am also very bad with spending money, however I have been too busy to spend it recently with uni work, dd, etc so I think its a good idea to keep busy with things so I don't go out shopping.

Totally agree. Most of my spending is from when I wasn't working/was working less hours and would spend loads of my time off on the computer browsing eBay (in more ways than one!) I'm working 48 hours next week plus my morning in uni so I really need to organise my time better at the moment so I can get essential things like cleaning done, let alone have time to shop!

My Grandad saves 2 pound coins up for me, If it's a year before the holiday then it could really mount up!

We try to live off my hubby's salary and the money I earn from my job we put straight into our savings account. That then pays for our season tickets for Pompey and Xmas and holidays. Doesn't always last long as it has to pay for any emergencies as well like the washing machine breaking and things like that.
