How Do You Report A PM?

You can't. They don't moniter PM's.

I was told that, too, and advised to put the user on ignore.

Copy and paste... send the PM to a moderator. Include who it was sent from.

You can always forward it to a Webmaster but there really isn't anything they can do about it. If you are having problems you can put someone on "Ignore" and they will no longer be able to send you a PM. That is the best solution.

Ummm they can "edit" your PM's - they edited mine sometime over the weekend. So, if they can edit them I would assume they could do something with a problem PM.

I would assume they could read, delete, save, forward them if they chose.

I'd imagine that if someone is being rude, inconsiderate, threatening, or down right nasty, that would violate the TOS in a PM as well as on the boards

Yes it would. I hope you forwarded the PM to an Admin after putting the poster on ignore.

You could forward it, but trust me, nothing will be done.
According the the webmasters, PM's are private and are not subject to moderating/rules etc. I received a threatening one from a now banned poster who is very anti-homeschooling. This poster was all nice and sweet to me while disagreeing with me on a thread, but called me several nasty names and said that they had enough information to report me to social services for not sending my children to school.

After being told that nothing could be done, I copied and pasted the PM to the home-school thread. Well that back fired on me big time. Most posters though I was horrible for sharing a personal correspondence. IMHO once it is in my in-box it is mine to do with as I please.

Now this was a few yrs ago, before the point system, but I doubt seriously that anything will be done.

Nope, that's not what I was told. A mod told me that a person can be abusive in a pm and the mods can't or won't do anything about it.
