How do you put a countdown ticker?

I would like to put a countdown ticker but I don't know how and where to put it so it will show up. Does anyone know how to get a ticker to show on a tool bar, and how to put them to show up at the end of a post?

To create the ticker there are places to create them. Dis has some, click on Tickers or DisTickers along the top somewhere. There are other places too, tickerfactory.com vacationcountdown.com. Save the codes that will show up once you have created the ticker.

Once you have created it, Go to near the top left side of this page to User CP. When that page opens down the left side of the page, select something like edit signature (something to do with signature) You enter the code of the ticker that you have into your signature space and press save. It will then be on the bottom of all of your posts

I just added mine this morning. When I first copied the code, it said it was for sites that will take HTML, and it didn't work. Try going back and copying the second one, and then you can preview your signature before saving it.

My dad did drive us from Coos Bay in a motorhome when I was younger, but now that I'm the driver I am too scared
My boys and I took the train once - 36 hours each way! That is what cured me of my fear of flying. Now we fly and get there in barely over 2 hours.

Anyway, I hope you have a fun road trip and a fabulous time in Disneyland!!

Yeah, I've never even been to Cali before, so this will be an adventure for me and DD, that's for sure! I'd be okay flying, but I kinda wanted the freedom of having my car with while down there, KWIM?

I have another question. Is there any way I can get a ticket on my desktop so when I open my computer, I see the ticker, like down in the tool bar area where the start button, time, etc is shown? If it is possible, would someone please put 'see spot run' type of instructions. Pretty please with Tinkerbell sprinkles on top?

I use a count down ticker that is on my desktop. Its from another disneyfan site so hopefully its okay to mention here but if you go to intercot.com, click on the interactive tab on top, then click Intercot countdown timer there is a downloadable timer that appears as a small icon on your desktop. There are several background pics you can chose for your timer including the Castle and the Walt & Mickey statue. Its super cute!
