How do you pronounce it?

Highschool french class tells me "le cell e yay" with the "e" so short you almost don't hear it.

She's right ... if you say it slow it's sell - eee - yay, but when you say it at normal speed you kind of smush the "lie" part together and it sounds like "sell yay".

kind of like sommelier if that helps lol! Le - cel - e - ay if speaking slowly and clearly - in converstation the french swallow some syllables like we we do...so it would be le-cel-yay!
