We are leaving May 4th and want to travel Southwest from Baltimore, MD. When do I start looking for rates? when would be the first day I would see that date available? thanks so much!

I'm also watching for 5/4 to Orlando (out of Manchester) and based on what I've seen in the past it seems like they should be extending to late April/early May within the next month - I've been checking the last few days because they sometimes extend the dates around the middle of the month but no changes yet. Keep watching!! (I know that's not much help!!)

I really play the game and always fly from BWI. For our August trip I think I changed our tickets at least 6 times, both for different times and prices. I book for August in late March as soon as the dates came out. I only booked 1 way so I was sure to have the time I wanted. Then in May I got a ding for realy low prices, so I changed my flight for the new prices and used the credit toward my return flight. In july the prices came down for our return flight so I changed again, also changed times. I ended up paying under $100 round trip, and also $60 credit. I booked for our December trip in September Labor Day weekend, but had to take a return time I didn't like. Today that flight was available for the first time at the lower rate. I ended up paying $218 -$60 credit for 2 tickets. One thing I have found, I usually always find the best fares on Friday using Ding, and on Tuesday with the sales. Anything else just ask.
