I have been keeping all my hotel, flight, car, etc. info in a folder by my computer and now it is time to orgainze. I have put it in a 3 ring binder for now so when it comes time I can just flip to the section I need and have confirmation numbers ready but just wondering what other people do. Do you map out your plan for walking around the parks? Do you carry somehting into the park to keep track of how you have used your meal plan, PS confirmation numbers, etc? Just curious.

I write everything down in my Passporter. I have index cards that I will write out all of the info that I need for each day. :)

I keep everything in a journal that has a couple of pocket folders. I carry it everywhere. I do create an itinerary for everyone in our group. It's color coded :teeth: but not too "commando" . I include the AM park, the PM park and any priority seatings we have scheduled.

I usually just type out a list of all of our confirmation numbers including flights, hotels, and PS. I also make a note of our park ticket numbers in case we lose them. This past trip I developed somewhat of an itinerary... just as far as what park in the am and pm, Pleasure Island 1 or 2 nights... I printed out the list the day before we left and kept it in my carry-on for the flight. DH thnks I'm insane for doing this!

You know those folders that have a lot of pockets. I'm not sure what they are called. I have one for Disney. I have different slots labeled plane, transportation, resort, etc. That way, I don't have to look through lots of papers to find the exact one that I need.

I get several of those plastic report covers where you slide the papers in, then slide in the clip that holds the papers in. One is for travel arrangements - airport, hotel, rental car confirmations, etc. One has my printout of the smashed penny machines. One has a printout of free/cheap/interesting things to do all over the World. This time, since I had PS's, I added one for a meal schedule and PS confirmations.

This way, each day I only need to carry the folders I need that day and can leave the rest in the hotel. I can also easily slide out pages I don't need - if I know we will only be at MK, I will only take the smashed penny pages for that park. The plastic covers keep the pages dry even in an open bag so long as the whole bag doesn't get completely soaked. The whole thing is SO easy to organize - just grab the folders I need each morning as we head out. (I do get different colors to make this easier - red for meals, blue for travel, etc)

Everything goes into my Passporter. I have often heard it referred to as "the dictator's daily orders" by members of my family. Someone in the family had to get the planning gene, and it wasn't any of them! :rotfl2:

Passporter here too, I like the deluxe edition with the extra pockets in the binder itself. I just actually ordered a new one because ours has seen a little too much use!

I have been doing the same thing with the folder. I have been keeping everything to do with our trip in there, right down to printed directions from the airport to the hotel, EMH schedule, etc. I have to go through and double check everything this weekend. We will be leaving before we know it!! :goodvibes

I have one of these also. It is kind of like a check filer but a little bigger that I got at an office supply store for less than $5. It was great for our last trip because it kept everything in one place and it was fairly small and lightweight. The folders allowed me to keep everything organized which is no small thing with me. I am usually losing everything. :)

I have one that looks kind of like this:

This is what I do too. I'm paranoid about losing things, so I make several copies of everything. I have a 9"x13" accordian folder with pockets in it that I keep a master list of everything. I put it in my checked luggage and then keep it locked in the safe in the resort room. I have a smaller accordian file 6"x101/2" that has a copy of everything. I keep it in my carry on luggage. I type a list of my PS# in a very small (8) pica so they're the size of a credit card, make several copies, laminate them (with a copy of my itinerary on the other side), then keep one in my backpack, one in my messenger bag, and one in my fanny pack, so I'll always have the PS# no matter what bag I'm carrying that day. I also have everything written on the folders in my PassPorter (PS#, flight #, room confirmation #, etc). Receipts will go in a small ziplock bag during the day and then into the PassPorter pockets at night.

ANother very happy Passporter user here. I have the deluxe version so if i dont want it to go in a pocket i just punch holes in it and add it to the binder

I had a Passporter sized note book with folder pockets that I used on my last trip. It really helped keep me organized but I found it bulky to carry everywhere.

This time I'm going to use credit card sized laminated cards (i have access to a laminator, big help!) and just keep all the info in my wallet (I also carry a very thin man's wallet while on vacation instead of a purse). I'll have a card for our PS times and confirmations, and cards with the Unofficial Guides touring plans for each park. I'll just keep the cards in my wallet, and pull out as needed. That way, the only things DF and I will need in the parks are our wallets (with room key, park tickets, i.d. and a bit of cash) and the small camera bag that we take turns cliping on our belt loops. I won't even need the backpack this trip!

The main week long itinerary I'll just print out on paper and keep in the room for referance.
