How do you make....

your stuffed peppers? and what do you serve them with?? I just discovered that i like these, so wondering how everyone else makes theirs?

The only way i know how is to use rice, hamburger, and spag sauce. and top with mozz cheese.

Any suggestions??

I have a basic recipe that calls for hamburger, rice, Worcestershire sauce and Campbell's tomato soup in the mix. Then you top them with some tomato soup and swiss cheese. These are my favorites but there are LOTS of things/ways to make stuffed peppers with and you can get quite gourmet with them.

You can do a search on www.allrecipes.com and probably find tons of ideas.

I make mine with peppers from the garden!

Prepare 8 peppers for stuffing (clean the insides) Then boil them in boiling water for 5 min. let cool.

Mix 1 pound ground beef (uncooked) and rice (cook 1/2 cup) and salt and pepper.

Mix 2 cans of tomato soup and 1 can of water, I add about 4-5 tablespoons of the soup to the ground beef mixture.

Stuff peppers and top with soup and bake at 350 for 1 1/2 hrs.

These are SO yummy. I like to serve mine with either spanish or mexican rice!

Ground beef or chicken with egg, italian bread crumbs and seasonings. Stuff those peppers and then put cream of mushroom soup over them. Serve with mashed potatoes, corn and a salad
