I bought a package of ribs, and was wondering if any of you have any good, and easy rib recipes?

Well PapaDuece will say they should not be touched until after smoking for hours upon hours... Heheheheheee

Short of that, Marinate is a good start.

I was waiting till he came here to respond to my question since he does seem to be the master at bbqing. But, we do not have a smoker.

I am also open to other preperation styles other then bbq, especially asian recipes.

I Like to dry rub them first.

Basic rub:
1/2 cup chili powder
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup grey salt
2 tablespoons black pepper
2 teaspoons cayenne pepper

Rub on ribs, cover in plastic and let stand at room temperature for about 1 hour. Bake in over temperature of 300 for 3-4 hours. Last half hour I add a barbecue sauce.

Barbecue Sauce
2 talbespoons vegetable oil
1 onion, minced
1 clove of garlic, minced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 cup ketchup
5 tablespoons molasses
2 tablespoons cider vinegar
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
2 tablespoons mustard
1 teaspoon tabasco sauce
salt and pepper
Heat oil over medium heat add onions, cook till soft 5-7 minutes. Add garlic, chili powder and cayenne cook about 15 seconds. Add remaining ingredients and simmer stirring occasionally till sauce thickens about 25 minutes. I use half the sauce on the ribs, you can either grill or bake in oven for the last half hour. The remaining sauce you can dress the ribs just before serving or use as a dipping sauce for the ribs. Yummy!

i am all about roasting them in the oven in a marinade/broth before searing them on a grill.

I cook ribs very often and they fall off the bone!!! I use a 13 x 9 pan and line it with foil (so its not messy to clean up!!). I usually have my ribs cut individually by the meat market but this works fine if they are not. I don't measure, so you have to make this to your taste and I'll give you the best estimate on how much it will take.

1 cup ketchup
1 1/2 tbsp mustard
1 1/2 tbsp worchestershire
1 tbsp sugar

Mix this all together in a bowl and coat all sides of your ribs with it. Place the ribs in the pan and cover with foil. Bake on 425 for 45 minutes. Take the foil off and bake for 1 hour 15 minutes on 275 degrees.

Take out and enjoy!!! YUM!!!

What? Nah... just boil them and then over sauce them. ;)

I put mine in a crockpot and let them go on low all day. Then about an hour before you want to have them drain off the liquid, smother with sweet baby rays and cook another hour. They will fall off the bone and so good.
