How do you make two images turn into one?

How do you do that? I want my Cute and Fluffy pic and my Stitch Keychain as one image. So I can put this in my sig:

If you have photoshop, just load both of them into a window, and save it as one image.

I saw someone that had 4 images, and she transformed them to look into one. (It looks like 4 images but it is actually all one) Sorry if I didn't explain it well enough.
