My husband says it can't be done but I differ but don't know how to do it.....help!
Please post how much this meal costs you to put together and how many people it served. I'm thinking this is a good budget meal....no?
I'm going to try the information listed. I've tried to make corned beef brisket in the past and either the potatoes came out mushy or the cabbage did. My family is not looking forward to trying it again tomorrow.![]()

I could do it in my old Crock, but the new one gets too hot and makes the potatoes mushy! I cook the Corned Beef all day then pour the juice into my pot and cook the potatoes and cabbage on the stove, while I slice the meat. I am going to miss that meal this year as I am scheduled for a colonoscopy and DD is no longer eating meat, so I'm not making it just for DH!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
I'm going to try it in the crock pot. Will it be okay to put the carrots in with the meat at the beginning or should I wait until the last hour like the potatoes and cabbage?![]()
I started mine a little while ago. I put carrots in the bottom--DD likes her carrot soft, but they don't break down or get mushy when cooking all day.
How is your crockpot adventure coming along? My house smells heavenly! You guys have helped me do it right this year!!My husband says it can't be done but I differ but don't know how to do it.....help!
