I like mine medium well. My favorite steaks are NY Strip and Filet Mignon.

Medium rare, and I generally prefer a NY strip. :goodvibes

Medium rare, and rare. It always annoys me when I see people ordering a fifty dollar steak just to have it charred. Having worked in a restaurant I can tell you that when you order it well done they give you the worst piece of meat because they are just going to burn it!

I like a Rib-eye cooked medium.

I picked rare, because I didn't know what blue meant. But, now I know! I like my steak very rare, cool and red on the inside, warm on the outside. I tell the waiter (somewhat jokingly) to just wave it over the flame. My favorite cut is a filet.

Medium rare. Usually a NY strip or a filet if I order it in the restaurant. But only a 6oz steak if i can find it, I can't eat too much at one sitting.

I like mine Medium. I like to make NY strip or Delmonico here at home. When eating out, I like a Filet.

Love my steaks! Filets, Porterhouses, Rib Eyes, And Shirts to name a few.
But they all MUST be medium rare at most. A steak cooked well done has no flavor.

Nothing better than a rare filet. I'm in agreement with whoever said cooking a filet to well done should be illegal. DD likes it well done and I continually argue with her that there is no point spending extra for a good cut if you are going to cook it to death. And when we eat at home, I buy the cheap, very lean top steak for her and she loves it. The reason she likes filet is that she hates fat and they tend to be lean!

I've been trying to train her to get cheaper cuts that are marinated like a teriyaki steak or steak tips when we go out. Looking at that charred, well done filet just grosses me out.

NY Strip.
Medium rare. I don't like it bright red and bloody, but if it's not pink, it's overdone.
The only steak that should EVER be served without pink is one that is ground up, shaped into patties, and served on a bun with condiments.

I like my steaks medium-rare. When I order from a restaurant I prefer fillet mignon. When I cook at home I usually make NY strip steaks.

Medium Well, or at least medium enough that it doesn't look bloody. As long as the juice ain't red and the cow is dead, I'll eat it. I order them medium-well just in case at restaurants, though.

Medium Rare to Rare. I want it red in the center, not purple, not pink...certainly not grey, ick!

Haha...we were having a "get to know you" type thing for my sorority. We were all in a circle, picking questions from a hat and my question was, "How do you like your steak?" My response was, "As long as it's not mooing, I'm happy." ...I was sitting next to a vegitarian. She was horrified. Everyone got a good kick out of that!

Oh, and give me a good filet...I'm in heaven!

I like mine medium well in restaurants and well when I do it at home. I can cook mine just to the point of still being juicy but done, where restaurants usually mess that up for me.

Favorite cuts are delmonico and/or rib eye.
