How do you know which plane you have?

Seen lots of threads with people knowing what plane they are flying on.

I'm probably being really stupid lol but where do I find this out.

We fly from Gatwick on 17th September VS015.

If you log in to your booking it should show you there, but just in case, you're in a Boeing 747-400.

If you're coming back on VS016 it will be same plane, VS050 is an Airbus A330-300

While the seating plan is available when you log onto your booking it does note that nothing is 100% until check-in.Which is common sense to due problems with certain planes or planes being used in other places.I wouldnt get my hopes up until you actually check-in tho,we ain't.

Ah ok, I will just wait and see.

Last year we couldn't do online check in so just went to airport but it actually worked out as we managed to get extra legroom seats for no charge.

Gonna do that again as the seat reservation hasn't been available at all which is weird.

Same happened to us a few years back but this year we were able to book our seats a few weeks back but we checked this week and it won't even see the seating plan.Hopefully it means the scheduled plane is in for refurb but who knows.
