How do you know ressies are linked?

I made a cash reservation for Saturday night, and asked the lady to link it to my Sunday to Friday reservation. I told her i was hoping i wouldn't have to change rooms. She told me she would see what she could do, but i still may have to change rooms. She didn't sound very knowledgeable. Is there anyway i can check and make sure these 2 reservations are linked together? I got both confirmations in the mail, they don't day anything on there. Can i call and check?

Yes, you can call and check. If you make sure that it is noted on BOTH the cash and points reservations, you will not have to change rooms. I have been doing cash-points reservations for my family four times per year since 1997, and the only time I had to change rooms was once in 1997. As long as they know you are the same family on both reservations, you will be OK. Also, it's a good idea to mention it when you check in, just to make sure that the information made it into their computer.

Did you reserve it through CRO or Member Services? If it's through Member Services, you should not have a problem, they will treat it as 1 reservation. I did it back in May, reserved Saturday as member cash, then Sunday to Friday on points. When I checked in on Saturday, they gave me keys and parking permit for the entire trip. If it's through CRO, you will have to check back in on Sunday and get new keys and parking permit.
