How do you know if your Best Rate goes down?

Is Disney supposed to email you if there is an adjustment in your rate?
Also, if it is past my 120 day mark, how will I know if another resort has come down in price to upgrade? Do I have to call and do that?

Good question. I'm not sure if any rates have come down yet. MIne sure haven't.

I asked this same question last week and shock of shock no one on the Dis was able to help me. I would love to know the answer to this question. Good luck.

and it didn't work out very well. I called and asked if there was anything available at WL. The CM said there was WL courtyard for an addtional (additional to my already in place non refundable deposit) $520. (5 nights in oct) so about $744 for 5 nights. It sounded about right so I said I'll take it.

The next morning I checked my itinerary on disney .com and I had been charged $520 PER NIGHT!!!

I got on the phone and ended up at guest services speaking to Naomi who said the only thing she could do was move me to POR in a waterview ( I originally had FQ standard) as there wasn't anything available at WL or FQ, nor was there any standard view left at POR. I had to take it becasue otherwise I would have lost my deposit!!!!

I am not unhappy with POR ( we like it there just fine) but I am not going to try to upgrade, no matter what!

OMG! $520 per night!!!! I would have died! That's more than rack rate!
hmm, might stick with CBR since I have never stayed there and hold out on our second visit to AKL for another trip.
