How do you keep your programs organized?

I am signed up for 13 click programs and 10 survey sites. I'm sitting here tonight trying to remember which ones I did earlier today and which I still need to do. I'm having to log-in to each site and check. There has got to be some easy way to keep myself on track but the only thing I can think of is to keep a piece of scrap paper and scratch the program off each day. Or, break them up into 2 sets and do each set every other day. How does everybody else keep track?

I probably shouldn't have signed up for so many sites but it gets addiciting!

Thanks in advance for the advice!!

Great question, Belle! I am curious to see how this is answered...

Personally, I have a folder in my Favorites Link that is specifically for Reward Programs and once a day, I go through the list, starting at the top and do all I can at each site and then go on...If I can't finish in one sitting, I can usually remember where I left off, but if I think I won't, I leave myself a little note by the computer! :)

I'm not doing that many reward programs (yet), but I do a similar thing with all the sweepstakes I enter everyday. I have a folder in my favorites menu for all the ones that can be entered daily, one for weekly, and one for monthly. Yes, I enter that many sweepstakes. Probably too many, but just when I think about quitting, I win something small.

Anyway, I start at the top of the list and go through all the links until I'm done. Every Sunday or Monday I do the weekly ones, and obviously around the 1st of the month I do the monthly ones. Before this I use to keep an index card by the computer with everything written done, but that got too messy as ones ended and others were added. Now when a sweeps is over, I just send the link to the trash.

I have all my programs organized in files in my Favorites. Programs that I do every 2 or 3 days (like SearchCactus and NetFlip) are in one folder. Daily programs are in another. You may want to even break those daily programs down into morning, afternoon and evening folders if you are doing a lot of programs.

I try to maintain as normal a routine as possible in order to keep myself organized. On mornings when a program is doing maitenance or the site is down, it can really throw me off. I save weekly clicks on CR, CTTM and other sites for the weekend mornings when everyone else in my house is sleeping in.

I have my Personal File Cabinet, which contains a file folder for each program. Into each file folder goes the welcoming email (with username and password), any confirmation emails from merchants I shopped at thru the program, any email responses from the site and redemption confirmations. If I need to look up some info from a site, it should be right there in the folder. Folders are alphabetized so that I can find them more easily.

I also make copies of these on floppy disks in case I have a hard drive crash or otherwise delete a necessary file. I back these up every week, as a rule.

In addition, I keep a little black (note)book with a page or more dedicated to each program. I have username and passwords, current point total, next cashout level needed and for what, last redemption date and for what and the date the redemption was received.

Okay, maybe it's a little obsessive but it keeps me organized. I can be a very disorganized person without all the files, floppies and notebooks. I just need to remember where I put them all! Good thing that the computer is too bulky to misplace!

I remember by repitition. I don't add a new program until I feel I have a handle on the ones I am currently doing.

For sweepstakes that I want to enter on a regular basis (daily), I save that link under favorites.

I figure, if I can't remember to do one, I'm doing too many.

I added WeBeWebin just a couple of weeks ago. I've missed doing it a couple of days, but I'm starting to remember to do it pretty much everyday now. So I quess it's a keeper. We'll see how it pays.

I used to print out a sheet to keep track of total points and redemptions, but that wasn't worth my time. Every program I've ever done has paid -- eventually, so I redeem and forget. It comes when it comes. Sometimes before a trip, sometimes after.

Have fun!

Lori

I have a folder in my favorites for every day of the week (Sunday, Monday, etc). When I finish a program for that day, I move the bookmark to that days folder. When all the programs are in the current days folder, I know I'm done.

I have a log that I use everyday. It lists the date, name of program, what my point total is for that day along with a reminder of what the cash out amounts are. For sweepstakes, I list them at the bottom of the log to remind me to go to their site which is in my favorites. I also keep a running tally of my read email accounts.
