We have never used the DDP before and after totalling up our last 2 trips it just seems to make more money sense to me. On our trip we have me, DH and 2 kids. One is a boy who is now 8 but he can eat. We don't run from one ADR to another but we do eat. We always have one counter service meal a day, usually for lunch and then we try and do a fun table service meal for dinner or a breakfast like chef mickey. My kids have to have a snack during the day because of all the walking they start to run out of energy.
Anyway, I just hear about how much people don't use their credits. It does not seem like a lot of credits to me. We are not big people, we just stay in the park from open to close because we only do this about every yr and half. Am I missing somthing.

I guess even before the new dining plans we always ate not only CS but TS meals as well. When we went several years ago with about 10 family members we would get 1 of every appetizer so we could taste. That was the fun part, with younger kids(even my DS now at 24 is still very picky) letting them get something different without the "you had better eat all of it" made it all of a more enjoyable vacation for all of us
