How Do You Handle Your "Withdrawal"?

Hi all ...

I know that my family and I suffer from withdrawal the moment we get home from a trip to WDW and remain in that state until the next trip. Some of the ways we deal with it are:

- watching trip videos over and over
- planning our next trip
- finding excuses to call WDW re: our next trip
(there's something about knowing I'm
connected to there and I love the music
when on hold!)

What are some of the ways you get a "dose of Disney" until your next trip?

Usually I'm sad for a month or two and I don't DIS or do anything Disney related. Then I make new ressies and I plan.

This weekend we listened to the Millenium Celebration CD and I started feeling that WDW feeling again.

I have to agree. These boards help me get through the Disney Withdrawl. We leave in less than 2 weeks and I am simply going crazy. I can't wait to leave. I am driving my wife crazy.

Planning my next trip and these boards get me thru-and of course mouseradio when all else fails. My family thinks I have a sickness and that I have passed it on to my DD 8, I simply tell them we just know how to have a good time. Three weeks to go-can't wait!

I always plan 2 vacations at the same time 6 months apart. When we get back from this one we are Anguilla bound in 6 months for 12 days of sun fun pampering and great food!

I usually just try and make more scrap books with things I got from my last trip. I always try to save as many things possible. Receipts, napkins, coasters, shopping bags, etc. Then I'll get home and put them into my scrap book. I'll also listen to as much Disney music or audio as I can. I've downloaded and recorded over 260 audio files from Disney World and I listen to all of them. Just look at my playlist:

I immedietely start planning our next trip! Since we go every 6 months it keeps me busy. I don't know what I'd do if I actually had to get a real life and not go to WDW!

I get back on these boards as soon as I can. It helps to read other people's plans, hear where they ate, & how everything worked out for everyone. I've also got a desktop full of those toy attraction vehicles sitting in front of me to help keep me going until the next trip!!

We live in Florida, about an hour and a half from WDW and belong to the DVC. We go at least once a month, so there is not a whole lot of time for withdrawall . But if we do feel a little tinge, we pop in our 1983 version of a day at WDW That we purchased at the resort in 1988. Then the mellowness sets in Wow! The colors , The colors! PS : I don't think I spellled withdrawall properly

I, too, am one to start planning our next visit. I get so sad the day before we leave, but I just start thinking about our next trip, and I am all smiles again!

Plan the next one. Our last trip was in 2000, and I wasted no time planning this one, even though it was 3 whole years away. I have BIG plans for my next trip. I'm going to book it way ahead of time and stay in a Deluxe Resort for the first time ever! I'll have loads of time to pay it off before trip time. I almost can't wait to come home after this trip!
