I am wondering how everyone handles "treats". I am deciding how to do this and was just wondering what works for everyone else?

I would LOVE feedback on the Poll I posted, and look forward to hearing from everyone!!

I always get dessert. I let myself have one Skinny Cow ice cream a day. occasionally I allow myself a "real" treat if I have been doing well usually in a restaurant.

I will let myself have one or two treats per week. It helps with the cravings.

My treats are very random.....I can usually pass up on sweets....but love cheese and red wine. I always keep small cubes of cheese in a ziplock in the frig. If I'm on track and hitting my goals and completing my exercise routines...I allow my self some wine and cheese on the weekends. Right now I'm still fighting to take off my WDW weight gain. I'm setting mini goals for myself for each Friday weigh-in and believe I work very hard to earn to earn my wine and cheese.

PS.....It was much easier to gain the weight at WDW, then it has been taking it back off!

I go with the small treat a day. Some days I do not make time for one, but if I feel I absolutely must have something I work it into my calorie structure for the day.

Non-treat treat suggestions:

Rice pudding with raisins:
1 container cooked brown rice (Minute ready serve singles) combined with 3 Tbsp flaxseed oil, 1 tsp vanilla extract, 4 oz fat free milk and 2 Tbsp raisins.

Creamy Yogurt indulgence:
1 granola bar mixed wtih 5.3 oz 0% plain Greek yogurk mixed with 1 small liced banana and 2 Tbsp almonds.

Sweet Tart Treat:
6 oz container Vanilla 0% nonfat Greek yogurt mixed with 1/4 c semisweet chocolate chips adn 1 peeled and sliced kiwifruit.

Comfort cup:
1/4 c nonfat ricotta cheese with 1/4 c berry blend and 1/4 cup semisweet chocolate chips with 1 Tbsp whole oats

I eat 1 treat a day and sometimes I make it double chocolate gelato or even fat free pudding. Just try to keep your snack or treat within your calorie range for the day and you should come out a winner!!!!

Usually I'll have a treat 2 or 3 days a week, and it's usually some chocolate or something along those lines.

I'm not too big on the ice cream or sweets so it isn't so hard.

I allow myself one treat per week, but sometimes I don't have it - it depends on how I'm feeling on my food/calorie intake and exercise for the week. Like yesterday, I took one of thoes dark chocolate "nugget" things from the bowl at work - its very small, and very tasty, but I have yet to have it. Maybe tonight if I don't eat anything bad at the mall!!!
