The wait is almost over, I received notice today that Disney has waived ROFR for me......finally!!! Now it's wait for the paperwork....wait for the seller to send in their papers.....wait to get put into the DVC system.....and THEN, make a reservation!!!

I'm glad I'm not alone here. Our contract was submitted for ROFR on July 29th too. I'm dying here - how are we going to make it through the coming weeks. Hopefully we will all have good news soon. I just can't wait for the day that I become a first time DVC member. But I like you cannot tear myself away from the boards and actively checking my email for a message from TSS.

So what happens if it doesn't pass ROFR? Do you turn around and buy it from Disney?

It is so hard to wait. I think ours took 3 weeks if I remember right to find out if Disney accepted it. But in the end it was so worth it because we got a great price plus triple points.

I feel for you though I'm one of those people too that don't like to wait. LOL

Thanks for the update! I have been on that thread before, but I feel a lot more informed getting a first-hand update like you provided!!!

The days have crawling by ever so SLOWLY since my offer was sent to ROFR!!! DOens't help by being home all day(teacher on summer break!!!)....
