How do you get your folio after the cruise?

I never received my folio onboard. They used to print it the night before & give it to you, and I'm still not used to the new mindset of "we expect you to do a lot of the work via your device that we used to do for you, despite the thousands you spent for your cruise", so I never thought to look into how to view it while onboard. Silly me, I didn't spend my cruise with my face buried in my phone as I guess I was supposed to.

Sorry for the heavy sarcasm but I'm a bit irritated. Does anyone know how I can view my folio post-cruise?
 
I'm thinking that you can't. I vaguely remember seeing something on our cruise 4 weeks ago that you needed to either have GS print it, or take a screenshot of it from the app. I know we checked ours a couple of times, once at GS while we were adding a gift card to our account, and at least once each on the phone or on the TV screen.

Which doesn't make it helpful. I share many of your frustrations with the app-driven experience myself. I don't mind carrying my phone, as I use it for photos; am mild-to-moderately displeased with not having paper Navigators; don't mind the menu thing too much because it gives me a chance to decide what I'm going to eat before we even get to the dining room.

I am not sure if DCL can go back and retrieve it for you-- or maybe they can, if you want to be on hold 5 hours? ugh.

Yeah I am not sure if you can get it once you've disembarked but given the long hold times I would send an email. Give all the information related to your cruise and maybe they can retrieve it and email it to you.
 
Maybe I'm naive, but not sure they can legally take a "too bad, so sad" attitude if you weren't able to access it on the app or get a printout from GS. I would imagine CS has to be able to provide a receipt for charges after services. Otherwise they're opening themselves up for chargebacks.

I once had an issue onboard with a gift card that they could not rectify. I had to follow up with DCL's accounting department once I got home so they can access your folio but now with the huge hold times I would try via email as already mentioned. Explain what you need, date of cruise, cabin #, ship, etc. Good luck.

It's on the app and I think they also have it on your TV. If I remember correctly both stated if you wanted a printed copy to go to GS either the night before or morning of Debarkation.

On my cruise I was able to download a PDF of my folio to my phone—I found it very convenient. But I would have been annoyed if I had forgotten to do this before disembarking, which I could easily see doing in the rush of packing, getting off the ship, etc.

I did this on my last cruise but I can't tell you how I did it. I just stumbled upon it. I'm going again next month and will have to figure it out again. I hate to have my face in a phone on vacation also!

in the app, click on “More” and there will be a link for “My Cruise Folio”. It’s easy to find, don’t worry!
 
Does anyone know how I can view my folio post-cruise?

I asked my travel agent the same question the day after my cruise and she informed me that I would have to call DCL to get my folio emailed to me. So I sat on hold for 20 minutes, got an agent, explained the situation, gave the agent my reservation number and the last 4 of the credit card on file. She said if that matches with what they have in their system, I should receive an email with my folio.

Luckily, it did match, and I did receive an email shortly after.
