How do you get to the WDW Car Care Center?

We've reserved a car rental for later this month but I want to pick it up before their shuttle service starts (they open at 6 a.m. but don't start pick ups until 8 a.m. on Sundays). Isn't the car care center near MK? Is it close enough that we could take the Disney bus to MK and walk to the car care center?

No. It would also be a dangerous walk with no sidewalks. Drivers also wouldn't be looking for walkers.

No. It's about two miles, no sidewalks and on a very busy road.

YOur best (only) option is to take a taxi

I didn't realize it was that far away from MK...we definitely won't be walking, especially with no sidewalks!!

one option is to have them (at least national, thats who i used) deliver the car to you at the resort- this was easy- but does costs an additional $25. but it did save me the time to get there, do the paperwork, get the car and get back. worth it for me...
i'm not sure of the hours for this service tho- i had our car delivered at 430pm- right to AKL.
